Reviews
"This place is great because they work hard to do things in the community. They have new exhibits so keep an eye out for changes. It can be visited over and over with new exhibits added periodically."
"Super awesome place changes every 6 months and found out that they do things with kids as well it is free but do take donations"
"This is an easy half day excursion to visit an original Carnegie Library which is now a modern day art museum. This “surprise” in the small, rural town of Clarinda, Iowa has art by some world famous artists, including Louise Bourgeois. Not far from the downtown area which includes the vintage courthouse building in the town square. It is also the home of the famous musician, Glen Miller."
"This an amazing jewel in AS Iowa! Consistently one of the best museum experiences in the midwest. Passionate, knowledgeable, approachable staff. Rigorous curatorial standards, international reach, and a commitment to local community education and engagement. If you've been to SW Iowa and not gone here you've cheated yourself. It's worth the effort."
"A great museum inside a beautiful old building. The artwork displays are frequently changed so you can visit regularly and see something new each time. Warm, friendly staff."
