"I went to the Y to see if it fit my needs. I was impressed at the facility and what it offers. Best of all the staff was friendly and helpful. Kudos to Lori and Brenden. I went ahead and joined. This particular Y and the one in the other city that I work from belong to a nationwide network so they have a reciprocal membership agreement. I pay for one membership and I can go to the other Y in a city 150 miles away."

"Just joined Brentwood YMCA and this place is horribly unprofessional. Set up appointment to have Mia show me equipment & give new member your (had to ask-not suggested by person who signed me up). Arrived at appt 2 days later & Mia was out sick. No one bothered to text/call me. Wanted to set up another appointment but was told Mia would call me next day. 5 days later still never heard from anyone! Went in & advised I never heard from anyone regarding intro tour or equipment instruction. No one had told me to clean equipment after use but thought I would- but, no spray bottle w antibacterial around?? 50% of patrons NOT WEARING MASK even when not working out but standing around. There is currently a StL Co Mask mandate for all public places. Saw no one cleaning anything. No hand sanitizer stations anywhere. No sign on entrance mask required. Only sign is when go into dressing rooms. When finally spoke w Mia- apparently the only person in charge of new members- she was rude & unprofessional. Stood around yacking to client about her hair braids while knowing I was standing there waiting for a tour. Just rude & poor customer service. No clue when or what classes offered. Had to ask for info & told to go on website. Totally uninviting for new members. And appears pretty unsafe in the current pandemic so contagious. Maybe some of the 4 employees talking $ joking amongst themselves in office should try helping folks or cleaning something?? Will drive farther & go to another Y location."

"My Y is the mid county location..I have no complaints..always a greeting with a smile when I walk in and I love how they have a few machines around the catwalk track for introverts like myself..Locker room and restrooms are clean..pool and hot tub well maintained..they even updated their exercise equipment"

"Love the facility. Large pool... If u have a big family or lower income they have a prorated monthly rate so all can be healthy and joyful. With prorated fees on absolutely everything even Vacation's... It is also great to be part of the YMCA family because u can go to almost ever one in the world. So if u go camping close to one u can use for showers. Or if u r hurting the same if u don't have hot water. That said . U would not know all of those facts by the facility or the wonderful people who are there. We are blessed to live-in such a cultural diversified area that u meet wonderful people from all over there. True melting pot. TRULY A BLESSING... Thanks YMCA.. Only issue I ever have is I wish they were open an hour or two later. Especially on the weekends..."
