Foxfire Apartments

"For those that want a decent price on renting - this is the place. Now - outside of that everything is piss poor. 1)Management - all they want is your money. They see everyone as dollar signs and that’s it. I would NOT entertain living here for your interest. 2) Trash everywhere - week to week; even with the new addition of new garbage disposals throughout. 3)Cramped Parking daily 4) They rarely answer calls or emails sent directly to the front offices. Sent several pictures of a damaged carport that my car was parked under. I moved my car - made several calls - no answer. I go in after work to ask them if they received my calls or email. They said they got my email and have already setup a third party contractor to fix that carport prior to me sending the email apparently. So to my understand they knew about the damaged to the carport before my knowledge but never seemed to care to let me know about it. 5)They do not care about the residents living at foxfire apartments at all. Again, I reached to them about a leak in the ceiling of my apartment. Emailed first and then walked into the office because this go around. Enclosed in the email was a message about a mess left both in the apartment I live in and right outside my door. I got no reply and walked in to the office to address this. With no surprise - at this point - they said that they couldn’t do anything since it was whatever third party contractor that they hired. I am looking forward to moving out from Foxfire. Denise and the entire staff at Foxfire have given me zero reasons of staying any longer after this year - even for the price - the way they have disregarded any of my concerns, calls, emails, etc. I don’t want that to happen to anyone living or thinking about living here."

"Lived here for most a full year. Very nice place. Staff if very friendly and responsive, and very understanding. I don't regret living here. The only problem is the neighbors can't learn to throw there trash away properly in the bins, but it's not foxfires fault. However my pet peeve is I wish there were privacy fences for the glass doors on the complex. It would make the residents feel more secure. If you ever need help, Denise is willing to work with you and she is such a sweet heart. If she doesn't answer the phone, be patient, she is constantly busy. She is constantly running around, or doing work in her office every time I see or walk by her."

"If the management, Heather, knew how to manage people, employees, it would make a difference as to how well the property does. The maintenance supervisor does a good job, but the Property Manager does not understand the people part of managing a apartment property. She may never get it. She's one 0f those 30 something managers who thinks she knows it all. They would do better if they did two things. 1, hire a qualified manager, 2, monitor their actions so the property does better resulting in better pay."

"I moved out in January 2020 after living here for two years -- and if I hadn't been moving across the country, I would have stayed! I can't BELIEVE how lucky I was while I lived here, my only complaint was full parking if you got home late. That's it! Management communicated very well, maintenance was always timely, and one of the maintenance guys was a TOTAL bro about helping me out with a couple of things when the chips were down (a fridge that kept busting that he helped me get replaced, a broken AC at 2am, etc). Unless something has drastically changed in the time I've been gone (which I guess is possible, due to pandemic stuff), I feel like they deserve more stars than this for SURE."

"I have lived at Foxfire for 4 years and I would say the quality of the apartments and the customers service from management is adequate to the amount I pay in rent. Yes, the appliances are old, the parking sucks, and yes I've had a couple of rude incounters with the office, but you get what you pay for and these are not luxury apartments. I was late on a rent payment once and they did waive the late charge. I had my purse stolen with my keys and they had someone out the next day to change my locks. Maintanace requests were complete within a couple of days, I think one time I had to call twice to remind them. Each year when my lease came due they wanted to raise the price of rent $10 or $15, but I think that is typical of most apartment complexes. A couple of times in the 4 years I received letters about break ins, but I kept my doors locked and never really felt unsafe. The windows and insulation are not very good. I used wrap on my windows to keep my electricity bill down. Overall, I would say this is a very average place to live. They are priced a little bit cheaper than your typical Johnson County apartment complex. If you're looking for decent rent and can deal with few minor inconveniences every now again then this place should work out for you fine."
