Reviews
"My review is only reviewing the front desk team, as the doctors are wonderful. The front desk sets the tone and especially in a children’s place they should be caring and respectful. One lady at the front desk is super nice every interaction but the other is very rude. I have wanted to make a review every time but keep saying “give her the benefit of the doubt she might be having a bad day” but now that EVERY interaction with her has been rude I feel it needs to be brought to attention. She doesn’t speak in a nice tone, gets frustrated if you ask any questions, and acts like you being at her desk is an inconvenience to her. I always try to avoid speaking to her when I go in but sometimes she is the only one at the desk and I’m left with no choice. The last thing you need when your kid is sick is somebody having a poor attitude making you feel even more down."
"I completely understand kindness doesn’t keep the lights on in a medical office but, money prioritizes over patient care here. If you have private insurance you have to do a lot of your own insurance foot work as well. No patient portal. Front desk doesn’t make appts so you have to wait for a call back to schedule an appt. it’s inconvenient for a working mom. Seems like there’s frequent turnovers on providers for the Lee’s Summit office, we’ve seen 3 different providers in the last 7 months."
"Everyone is always very friendly, including the front desk, nurses, and doctors. They get us in same day when necessary, and wait times are always short."
"The worst experience with a dr in the 2 years my son has been alive!!! My son is special needs and has numerous therapists and drs working with him but I needed a pediatric doctor when we went he continuesly acted as if my child’s medical history was just too much quite literally huffed and puffed anytime I added on to the list And when he was done asking about my sons medical history he continued to tell me my son “ needs a lot of work” was very stand off and didn’t interact with my child at all but to check his ears mouth and nose. DONT RECOMMEND!!!"
"Love Dr Moylen. Absolutely love him. Unfortunately this is overshadowed by a nursing staff that is incredibly unreliable and rude at times. One example of many, my daughters go in for both having really bad coughs and gastrointestinal issues at 3pm. They express concern at swollen lymph nodes and diarrhea my kids are having along with their coughs. So they… swab for strep? Then they give us the option to wait for 6 minutes until the test is done or that they will call us as soon as it’s complete. 6 minutes. It’s 4:45pm after close, no call, nothing. I called their after hours Line, was again told someone would call me. It’s 5:10. Still no call. This was supposed to be a 6 minute test. What if it’s negative? Do we go back? What is wrong with my kids? We won’t be back. Ever. And that sucks because Chuck Moylen is the best Dr in the city. Edit: After plenty of waiting and phone calls they finally gave us the results around 6 and said they were calling in a prescription for my daughter that DID end up having strep annnnd they never called the prescription in. So the you-know-what-show continues."
