Reviews of Haunted Eureka Springs
"The Haunted Eureka Springs tour was great! Guide Steve walked us around town providing history related to the ghosts that have been spotted over the years and about significant events of the past. He was in perfect character, funny and is an excellent story teller. As a local who hadn't gone on any of the tours, I learned a lot and was surprised to see and learn about the underground tunnels in town. Highly recommend this tour!"
"We went on this tour with our 3 kids and we all absolutely loved it! You learn so much fun and spooky history! Our guide was so funny, knowledgeable and she was even interactive with my daughter who was the most excited for it and I really appreciated that!! I definitely recommend going on this tour! There isn’t too much walking but there is so much to see and learn! We walked around the next day and were able to notice so many things we wouldn’t have known about otherwise like the haunted bank which is now a store plus so much more!"
"So much history. Great, friendly, knowledgeable guide. Walked all through town, ended in catacombs and cool area of the office. Pendulums and other items for sale at completion of tour. Would be cool to add in EMF or other things in the tour."
"One of the highlights of our visit to Eureka Springs! I don't believe in ghosts or anything like that (although it would be cool to see one if they were real), so I was looking for more of a "dark history of Eureka Springs" type of thing. This did not disappoint! It was a blast to go around the same parts of town we had been walking around hours earlier and hear about the weird and wild history of the last hundred and fifty years. And don't worry, there's not any cheesy jump scares or fake ghosts or anything like that. I'd recommend doing what we did... Buy your tickets ahead of time for a 10:15p tour. There were only six people on our tour plus the guide, so we weren't crammed in and everyone got to ask lots of questions. Doing the late tour also meant it was dark and the town was basically empty, which added to the ambience. I really enjoyed our tour guide (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name). She said it was only her fourth tour to give, but she knew what she was talking about and her sense of humor was bone-dry and sarcastic and it was great. Ending the tour in the catacombs was a cool touch. There were no kids on our tour, so she told a couple extra stories that she normally doesn't tell. Overall I think the tour was fairly kid-friendly, depending on your kids and family. Maybe 13 years old and up? Highly recommend!"
"We had so much fun, learning about some of the history of Eureka Springs, and how to use ghost hunting tools, and actually using them in a somewhat spooky location... Through the wardrobe, literally, we went into the dark to seek out the spirits that may or may not be lingering in the "catacombs" beneath Eureka Springs. Our tour guide was very very nice, and engaging, and extremely friendly. He's also very knowledgeable about the area's history; dark and light. We truly enjoyed our time spent here, and I absolutely recommend it to everyone who ventures into this very beautiful and highly intriguing little town. It only cost us $10/person to undertake this little adventure, and it lasted about an hour. It was a wonderful way to spend our time, and I am looking forward to going on another one of the ghost tours they offer next time I visit."
