"I liked Dr Zaiee. She is good at prescribing the right meds. The receptionist are rude. They will tell you how overwhelmed because they have 9 doctors and only two receptionist. If you use a mail order pharmacy. They will only prescribe if the mail order sends them a request. What happens is that the receptionist say they don’t receive them. So , it’s a situation that can take days to get resolved. Trying to get help from one of the receptionist on the phone, and explain this, she hung up on me. If you are a considering this facility, be informed. It’s too bad. The doctor is good."
"I have found Dr. Ziaee's to be a kind compassionate doctor who listens to me and works with me on my mental health. I appreciate that she wants to check in with me periodically (every 3-6 months) to make sure I'm still ok, unlike some psychiatrists who just write a yearly script so they don't have to bother with you later. I will say the office staff are not always super helpful, but I am totally willing to deal with that too get excellent care ~"
"Please take these reviews seriously if you are interested in Dr. Zaiee's services. I wish I could give something lower than 1 star. I have been a good patient of Dr. Zaiee for years. I have kept my appointments and paid all outstanding bills in a timely manner. Every time I go to see her I have to wait an inordinate amount of time to be seen - even if I have the first appointment of the day. Further, it is very difficult to get an appointment to begin with so I have always made my next appointment months in advance. The office does not confirm appointments, send an e-mail reminder or have any other method of communication on upcoming appointments so it can be easy to miss an appointment that is scheduled 4 - 6 months in advance. Most recently, they deactivated me as a patient without providing any notice whatsoever (written or verbal). When I called to make an appointment with her I was informed I was no longer an active patient. When I expressed my concern at the lack of notification and how this was handled the receiptionist became extremely rude and unprofessional. For good care, I will deal with waiting to be seen or making appointments months in advance. However, this latest experience is very troubling, particularly when dealing with a mental health professional. Be kind to yourself and find someone else for treatment."
"I have a horror story to share about Dr. Ziaee. She prescribed me medicine and I was her patient for 8 years and I thought we had a good doctor/patient relationship. Without any warning she stop seeing me and lied about the reason. Dr. Ziaee was and is a hazard to my mental health. I was left in shock and abandoned. I would not recommend Dr. Ziaee to anyone. She is not good for the Mental Health field. Beware!!"
"In addition to the fact that Dr. Ziaee is not very personable or compassionate, I'm very upset with how her office handles emergencies. I didn't realize that I had missed an appointment in December because it was such a busy and chaotic month, so today when I realized that I was out of refills on my Lexapro I called the office to make an appointment to get a refill. The doctor can not get me in until February 12 (3 full weeks away) and is emphatically and unapologetically unwilling to give me a one month refill to hold me over until she can see me. Mind you, you're not supposed to stop taking your medicine without consulting your doctor so that they wean you off to avoid withdrawal and make sure you're okay. Yet Dr. Ziaee is completely willing to let me go through withdrawal even though I described the effects it has if I miss more than a day of this medicine. (Which I unfortunately know since I forgot to pack my medicine on a weekend trip recently.) I'm truly appalled and disgusted. There is no law stating she can't give me a refill since it's been 7 months since my last appointment rather than 6, this is just her personal & seemingly arbitrary policy. Lots of doctors give a 12 month Rx for this very same medicine. To me, she is demonstrating absolute and complete disregard for her patient. I'm a responsible adult who takes her medicine responsibly. This is a doctor that clearly does not have my best interest at heart and, as a result, has broken the trust that is essential in a doctor/patient relationship. If you're searching for a psychiatrist, I strongly suggest you keep searching."
