Florissant Open MRI

"I am extremely claustrophobic. I had an MRI done there this past week. I did take Xanax before I went but was still scared to death. I have never been treated so kindly and felt so understood and not feeling like I was a baby. They sat with me , talked to me calmly, and explained everything every step of the way! I am forever grateful for their kindness. If you need an MRI , I would highly recommend this place !!! 5 STARS !!!!"

"Unbelievably bad experience. My wife, who is triple vaccinated and has recently recovered from covid (so extremely low chance of transmitting anything), had a runny nose the day of her MRI. She drove two hours for the MRI appointment and we had to rearrange schedules to watch our kids. When she showed up they would not let her keep the appointment because of her runny nose. The icing on the cake is the assistant said 'with just a little effort you we could reschedule and you could come back later'. A two hour drive is not a little effort! Especially with our child care situation. I understand the need to pre screen, and totally support taking measures to reduce risk of covid transmission, but any pre screening criteria need to be made very clear prior to the appointment!!!"

"I just left open MRI from having my ankle scanned!. This place is such a nice place!. The room he does the MRI in is so big and open!. ( no Claustrophobic feeling)!. So well lit with natural sunlight it helps you to be more at ease. I would definitely recommend to anyone!."

He sensed I was very nervous. He was compassionate and did his best to reassure me. He was able to get me through the process."

"Super friendly staff! Never had any issues getting through via phone. The Dr was very patient and explained billing and insurance. The machine was not loud like normal closed machines!"
