"The doctor dealt with me in a very unpleasant manner as if to belittle the concerns I had. No empathy for the patient but instead almost made fun of the patient in pain. I felt very strange afterwards reflecting on the visit. Have since avoided going here."
"I've been to Habif multiple times for various reasons: doctor appointments, vaccinations, etc. Everyone was nice to me, healthcare professionals were very welcoming and listened to my concerns carefully. There are also free hand sanitisers and masks at the registration desk and a small library with books on mental and physical health."
"Awful. I told them that, in addition to large amounts of green snot and a long lasting wet cough, I had green liquid in my eyes in the morning and that my eyes were sealed shut. They prescribed me allergy medicine and started talking about oak pollen. I asked them "Is this not pink eye?" and got the sarcastic and mocking response "Well, It is in the way that your eye is pink, but we have no way of knowing if it's actually infected." (green pus in the eye means nothing they assured me) They told me to give it more time and make a follow-up appointment if I still felt ill, which I can only presume they did to squeeze the absolute maximal amount of money out of me to receive basic medical treatment."
"I wouldn’t know how the quality of care is because the people at the desk just tell me to call the phone because they can’t be bothered to do their jobs, but no one ever picks up the phone or calls back when a message is left. It’s truly infuriating and has delayed my access to medical care for months. For a school which such a good medical school the organization of student health is abysmal."
"I've only had positive experiences here. Any procedures that I felt were high were due to an insurance coverage issue (I don't have the washU insurance so some things I have to contact my insurance to ensure coverage). All the doctors I've seen were amazing, professional, and caring. Sometimes the wait in the waiting area are long, but that is because they make sure you are taken care of before leaving and don't make you schedule multiple appointments to have things looked at. I've never left here without everything being addressed. The pharmacy here is also wonderful."
