"USERS BEWARE!! We had the same experience as several others have reported here. My husband got a strep test and we were billed for an emergency room visit. Our insurance EOB said we are not responsible to pay the overcharge ($216!) and we sent in a copy of that doc. Now a collection agency is after us. I have reached out to “patient inquiries” but doubt we will get a resolution. NEVER AGAIN!"

"I had an extremely disappointing experience at this urgent care. The staff seemed indifferent, directing us to a kiosk for check-in, which in turn sent us back to the receptionist. Despite waiting over 10 minutes, no one approached us for assistance. Communication and customer service were severely lacking. The sign on the wall is a farce — it reads “Through our exceptional health care services, we reveal the healing presence of God.” Nothing about this experience was exceptional, there was absolutely no service of any kind received and I did not in fact have the presence of God revealed to me. I challenge you to do better."

"Pros: I can schedule the appointment on time. Np and RN are professional. MY Big issue with this place is the billing code. I called my insurance. They received the billing code is the emergency room hospital code. My copay is 250 for an emergency visit. But this is urgent care, for which I only need to pay 50. I don’t care how your system works. That is not my job as a client. This doesn't seem right. You charged me for something I didn’t use it. I went to urgent care for my strep throat. SSM leadership, you need to work on this issue. This is an ethical problem."

"Visited the SSM Urgent Care in Brentwood. Was able to schedule a visit within 30 minutes of calling them. The staff was very kind and provided top notch care from the minute of walking in until walking out with a prescription. Five stars for staff and the facility. I’d highly recommend them to family and friends."

"So here I am on a random Tuesday afternoon reading through my mail, and what’s this, SSM bill. Hmm, I haven’t been there since Oct 2021, open it up and to my surprise I owe them 307, but they take 276 if I pay it in full by 12-14-22. So 14 months later, mind you, I paid my bill since then, they’ve decided to reclassify my visit as an emergency room visit. That’s odd, I saw a nurse for all of 2-5 mins and off I went. How in the world can you decide to send a new reclassified bill over a year later. How are these crooks still in business, this is why folks go to Urgent care to avoid emergency rooms. And don’t even bother with CS, it’s a complete joke even when you tell them they coded it wrong. So I’ll pay them 2-5 dollars a month for as long as it takes. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST, unless you like surprise mail. Good luck"
