"Asked me to get an xray the day before my appointment. Said I didn't need a referral...I arrive to get the xray and yes, I need a referral and of course they are not open to get the referral! No wonder they only have 2.9 stars, should be less!"
"The doctor we saw was so flippant and seemed surprised that he'd been recommended by another urologist. Now I guess we understand why. The appointment was in May and it's now almost August and we STILL can't get an answer for what my husband's PSA results were. We won't be back. Terrible office, not a good doctor."
"My husband is 87 years old and I am his primary care person. He won’t speak up to people when it comes to concerns or complaints so I am speaking on his behalf. Time means nothing to these place and doctor. Appointment was at 10:20 did not get called back until almost 11:00. Dr. Marcus nurse, the person that takes you back and gets your blood pressure and stuff, one of the most rudest person I have ever encountered. I had called and complained about her our first visit and I guess instead of trying to improve her attitude she decided to hold a grudge. Very rude and unprofessional. Did not treat us with respect at all. She has NO business working with people with her nasty attitude and personality. She is our biggest complaint. Dr. Marcus I guess was running late again so when he came in it was like he was in a big rush. Maybe spent 2 minutes with us. He told my husband to come back in a year. I would not recommend this place to anyone."
"Arrived at 7:20 am for my 7:30 am appointment. Was called back to the examine room as scheduled and waited until 8:25am. When I went out to the desk to ask where he was, the staff nonchalantly said Dr. Marcus ‘doesn’t do ‘time’ very well.’ They kindly offered to reschedule but no thanks. We live in St. Louis and I’m reasonably certain I can find a urologist who can manage to on time for their first appointment of the day. Ironically, I got three emails and two robocalls prior to the appointment to remind me to show. Perhaps the practice needs to add their doctors to that list. In any case, my sense is that this guy values his time more than his patients time. Do yourself a favor a look for another practice."
"8:20am appointment. Knew I was in big trouble when I saw a patient arrive with a book. At 8:50 queued up to ask for a refund for my copay. Had to wait to be helped at the front counter which worked out for them as they called my name at 8:55am. Sat alone in the examination room for another 10 minutes before the doctor arrived. He explained the procedure to me and discussed when the next available date was for the procedure. Total time with the Dr., under five minutes. Doctor was pleasant and knowledgeable. They need serious help getting organized."
