Reviews of Mercy Clinic Adult Psychiatry - Town and Country
"I've found this location to be very helpful. Nurse Miranda is always on point. She makes you feel comfortable. The front desk is accompanied with golden customer service. Highly Recommend!"
"I have never felt so comfortable in a Doctors office before. I feel like my concerns are being addressed and I feel like I am heard."
"I'm still really shocked about what I experienced here. My medications have been dosed and regulated for several years. I was happy and didn’t need to change anything. But this doctor then told me she was changing the treatment of a medication I’ve been on for 12 years for my ADD. First of all, don’t doctors usually talk with their patients before abruptly stopping or changing a medication? Well that didn’t happen. There was no discussion whatsoever. She didn’t even ask me what side effects I myself have experienced. She just decided what those were for me, said it was only uncomfortable and told me I can deal with it. So I pushed back and said no I’m not doing that, this medication is where it needs to be. I explained the symptoms of my condition, the side effects I’ve felt when changing or skipping doses and how serious they were. I was basically explaining to this person who went to medical school that everyone’s condition is different so their treatment should be too. None of it mattered. I was completely ignored. I was not given treatment, I got an ultimatum. And I asked another doctor and a pharmacist about this and they did not agree with it either. They said it’s not impossible but it’s extremely rigid and uncommon. Not the kind of people I want in charge of my life and health that's for sure."
