Reviews
"Your entire endocrinology program is rotten to the core. Dr. Makhsida was rude & unprofessional. I've been recovering from MVA injuries for the past year so I didn't review the tests results from my endo visit in Dec of last year. It appears that Dr Makhsida also didn't review them; or, he just didn't care. Since he no longer works for Mercy I came to this site to get an appt with an endo in St Louis. The reviews indicate your St Louis group is worse than the one in Festus; at least Festus answers the phone. I won't be seeing another endo in your health system."
"Can you please just give us a reason for not responding to phone calls? Are you understaffed or burnt out? My fiancee has called you 3 times and left messages with no response. She may have diabetes and needs to see you! At the very least get on your list! It sounds like you as a company are neglecting patients which is dangerous for patients, and you as a clinic. You should be shut down in my opinion."
"I was thinking about changing doctors but staying in the Mercy network, however, after reading these reviews I think I’ll keep who I have. I wanted to change because my doctor moved her office to Festus, MO which is an hour drive. I’d rather drive an hour knowing that if I call the office someone will answer the phone. It seems all of the complaints are the same with staff not answering or returning calls. Bad Business!"
"This is the least communicative doctors office I have ever been to. You’d have more luck eating soup with a fork than getting a staff member on the phone. The automated response will tell you to use the MyMercy portal to communicate with the office, good luck. This office will ignore repeated requests from you, your pharmacy, and your other healthcare providers. If you want to be treated fairly, promptly, and respectfully do not come here. Patient neglect is their M.O."
"Doctors and staff are very courteous and professional in the office. But if you need any kind of special treatment or consideration in dosage, etc. don't expect them to do anything outside of the kind of blanket response you'd expect from a tech support line. Outside of a visit, it takes days for them to respond and even your pharmacist will have a very difficult time getting a human on the phone. Every line is an answering machine when you call and if you try to bypass this system in an emergency, they will block your calls."
