"This review is LONG overdue but before I found Jennifer, I was in a world of pain and dismissal. I had my first baby back in Aug 22’ and my postpartum recovery was extremely painful. At 4 months PP, I still was not able to resume activities because of excruciating pelvic pain. After 2 OBs and 1 PT, I was almost convinced I would continue to live with this forever. I was told I was psychologically doing this to myself. After finding Women’s Physical Therapy in spring 23’ and after about 3-4 sessions, I felt INCREDIBLY better and was able to resume normal “activities”. My happiness returned and finally a sense of normalcy. It’s crazy to me that pelvic floor therapy isn’t a requirement for all mommas who just gave birth because it’s SO BENEFICIAL. "I went to see Dr. Jen about 4 months postpartum. I was having some pretty sever tailbone pain immediately after giving birth. First I went to my OB and then a chiropractor and I was told this was normal and just to give it time. Well after 4 months of not being able to sit with my newborn without experiencing a ton a pain, I couldn’t take it anymore. I googled my symptoms and read a lot of comments about people going to a PF therapist. I was hesitant at first but I’m so glad I took that first step in calling Dr. Jen. Unlike everyone else, she told me this is a pain I don’t have to live with and even had experience with other patients having this issue. That alone gave me comfort so I decided to give it a try and went in for 6 sessions. Boy am I glad I did. After the 6 sessions and some work at home, I can say the pain with sitting is gone!
