"I would also like to discredit Joey Goodwins claim. I've been seeing Dr. Sternberg for almost a year (wow time flies). He has known since the first conversation, I'm a cash payer and also have never been charged $350 for an appointment and I see him just about every 2 months now. I am so glad to have come across the best psychiatrist in the Kansas City metro area. Trust me, I'm not the perfect patient. However, Dr. Sternberg is a very understanding and compassionate man. He challenges you. He gets you out that comfortable phase in your life. He truly wants to see improvement in your life under his care. He actually talks with you, ask you questions about life and shares his own personal stories as well. Making for a very trusting doctor-patient relationship. He also has an awesome sense of humor that can make even the most depressed person crack a smile!! He's helped me to be consistent in my daughter's life again!!! Medicine is only discussed for a short period of time. Medication may be apart of your treatment of course, but Dr. Sternberg is much more concerned about your mental well being and quality of your life!!!
