"I had been seeing Dr. Mays for approx. 8 years. He is very hard-working and appears to exhibit a genuine care for his patients. Note that in checking him out it was found he's accepted a large sum of money from drug companies for presentations, lunches, travel, expenses. Is this a conflict of interest - you decide. It's not uncommon, but there is a wide variance from Dr. to Dr. The office staff can be less than helpful. They are a large practice and the service you get is what you get. I got poor service from an office staff member, spoke up, and was promptly dismissed as a patient. You may be poor, you may be suffering emotionally, but if you are not quite willing to accept whatever treatment you get, without complaint, you will be promptly and summarily dismissed."
