"I’ve never left a bad review before but this place is an absolute scam. First off, they are the only ketamine clinic in Kansas City that charges $300 for a consultation and also requires a $50 deposit for the appointment. Every other clinic offers a free consultation. Secondly, they are the only clinic that forces you to do all 6 sessions and makes you pay the price IN FULL up front. If you do not finish the 6 sessions, they will charge you $500. Every other clinic allows you to schedule one a time and pay for just that appointment. No one else is forcing you to schedule and pay for all 6 infusions up front, except this place. It is more expensive than any other clinic as well. Dr. Jafri does not have a real understanding of depression and said “Well you’re smiling right now” implying I might not be that depressed? Also asked me to pull my sleeves up to see if I cut myself? I never mentioned anything about self harm. Extremely bizarre and not something a mental health professional would do. He doesn’t understand what living with chronic depression or mental illness for several years actually looks like because he is not a mental health professional. He is an anesthesiologist and not a psychiatrist. I’m really upset I didn’t do more research and gave this place $300 when other clinics charge nothing for the consultation. Everything about this situation was misleading and not disclosed to me before paying. Other clinics do not do this and were able to tell me over the phone exactly what I would pay for each individual treatment.
