"The enviornment and genuine hospitable care and concern exhibited by the entire staff resonates throughout the entire office. From the nurses to the doctors to adminstration staff they continually follow up with all questions and needs of the patients making them priority one."
"Dr. Iqbal takes the time to answer my questions and explain things so that I can understand them. The whole office staff is very caring and always so polite, always treating me and everyone with respect. I would happily recommend them to anyone. I have also had the opportunity to know Dr. Kobbermann and she was very thorough and respectful as well. Again I can't say enough wonderful things about them all. Thanks to them for all they do."
"Dr. Singh and his staff are incredible! They have worked tirelessly on my husband’s behalf. In the difficulty that is the cancer journey, we have felt blessed that this team is helping us. Forever grateful!"
"Friendly staff. Clean facility. I’ve had my blood taken and infusions given many times here and every nurse is quick with the needle and cause no pain. Dr. Iqbal answered all our questions and never seemed rushed."
"The people are nice but seem incompetent. I had to go in for some lab work and waited two weeks for the results. The night before my appointment they called and said they didn't do all of my labs the first time so I need to come in for the rest before I can get my results. I went for more labs and they scheduled my consultation for the results one week later. Again, the night before my appointment they called and said they didn't have all the results in so I needed to wait another week for the results. Waiting 4 weeks to find out if I have cancer or whatever is wrong is a long time especially when I'm pregnant. Another problem is that several of the labs were denied by my insurance because they were considered genetic testing or investigational. I was never warned this was a possibility. When I spoke with my doctor about it he was surprised they weren't covered and said they would work with my insurance to appeal it, which I was thankful for. An additional problem is that these labs were processed through Overland Park Regional Hospital who are a tremendous pain to deal with. Instead of my doctors/nurses/financial counselor getting with the hospital to figure this out they wanted me to bring in my EOB's showing the denied charges. (Provider remits, sent to OPR, would have a lot more info than my EOB's but I thought whatever, I'll do what they want.) Once I provided the EOB's I thought the Cancer Center was getting with my insurance to figure it all out. Weeks later they call and say they don't know who to send the paperwork to for the appeal so they are snail mailing it to me to send in to my insurance. (the remit sent to OPR would have that info or they could have picked up the phone and called my insurance.) I was upset because the hospital only gave me a 30 day hold and now my 30 days were up and the appeal wasn't even started yet. Once the paperwork from my the doctor came I realized the letter from the nurse explaining everything didn't even have the correct information listed. I had to call the office and explain that I needed the paper work to show we are appealing both dates of service and two separate claim numbers along with multiple charges not just one. I asked that they email it to me instead or the snail mail so I could make this happen quicker but they said they don't do that for HIPPA. So I had to wait another week for the (thankfully) correct papers to come. Now my insurance in is in the process of reviewing my two claims but the hospital is still sending me bills. I'm not sure how the hospital can be allowed to bill me when the insurance doesn't even know what I'll owe until their investigation is done but they claim my 30 day grace period is up so now I owe. Like I said OPR billing is terrible, they are rude and don't even try to be understanding. I've worked in medical billing and I understand grace periods ending but not when the insurance is still processing it. If Sarah Cannon would have started the appeal process themselves or with the hospital I wouldn't have to be dealing with this mess right now. If you go to this location be aware the waiting room is ridiculous, you may have to come back for several appointments that should have been done in one, you may have to wait longer than necessary for results, and if you have any insurance problems they probably won't know how to handle it."
