Reviews
"They take the taxpayers money and offer no real services but they will give you phone numbers to over populated and understaffed places that can't help anyone this goes for all the non profit organizations that claim to have resources"
"Honestly, It took this center over 15 years to help me. They finally gave me a chance at section 8 after I had been disabled since age 14. They are associated directly with the Police. I've had caseworker throw me in institutional hospitals for no reason at all. This place doesn't really help italian families. My dad said that my old caseworker stalks him. Like over-calls him at work. This place is a family crisis havoc."
"I wish I didn't have to resort to a Google review but here we go. I had a previous DR from here prescribe me medication then left JCMH the same day. I had severe reactions and NO ONE to follow up with. Lost my job. THEN I was assigned to Marijen Aga. Who KICKED ME OUT OF MY APPOINTMENT. Why? Because I said I didn't want the student doctor present during my appointment. I was NEVER informed of the student doctor. No one warned me. No one asked. And when I showed my discomfort. I was forced to LEAVE MY appointment. I made a compliant. And NO ONE HAS FOLLOWED UP. No one. I've been severely depressed and my suicidal ideation has been flaring ever since. Never have I felt more alone. Do NOT trust this place with your mental health. Also. When you call the crisis hotline when you're suicidal, the team lead Shelby Alvarez will contact you. She'll ensure you get help. Then she will forget to send an email to set you up with a therapist. And you'll be told "It was an honest mistake." And meanwhile you've wanted to die 500 times in the weeks it took her to realize her mistake. This place is trash. Absolute garbage."
"I could never judge these other low ratings as they have a right to feel how they feel, but I'm very, very happy with my therapist Michael K. (don't know if it's appropriate to put full names on here). I came here yeeeears ago and wasn't able to give these 5 stars, but I can happily say JCMH deserves 5 stars now, at least from my experience. It's super important to find the right fit for you and I hope each of you reading this review has the positive results I have had so far. Thank you and I look forward to my next session."
"Britta was my therapist (we did zoom therapy) and things started off good, for the 1st half of the year. The 2nd half of the year I noticed that each session she would get later and later sending me the zoom link. One time she completed forgot about our session and didn’t even send me a link whatsoever. I also have my reminder for appointment voicemail, and I emailed her a question and she emailed me back stating we will talk about it during our zoom session. I took off work, only for me to talk to her manager because I guess she quit without notice and left all her patients hanging without any explanation. I saw that she’s opening up her own practice where she Does Not take insurance and wanted to warn other people to be careful. It seems like she doesn’t care and just wants to get your money. When this happened my mom was in the ICU with an overdose, that’s why I reached out to her earlier when she said we will talk about it during our zoom session which never happened. I would stay clear of this therapist, there’s plenty out there that have basic communication skills that won’t leave you hanging when you need them the most!"
