"Dr. Eaker definitively is not a happy-go-lucky-come-near-so-I-can-give-you-a-hug type Dr. I can count on 3 fingers the number of times I have actually interacted with him. Each time were 5 minutes or less. The first two PA's that he had were absolutely AWESOME - Laura and Jill (they have both since left the practice.) The front desk staff is not friendly but not to say they are necessarily rude either. The one thing that "Did it" for me as it relates to eventually leaving their care was the PA Amy Brettman. Just as reviewer Krista Robinson wrote, Amy, "offers a negative patient experience." And indeed she does! I went to see Amy since Jill had left. Amy was unpleasant to deal with. She makes the patient feel that they're a nuisance to her and left me feeling that I had intruded in her time. She was quick not to pay any attention (nor cared to) to any of the questions I was asking her. A McDonald's employee has superior customer service than her - it is sad. I get it, healthcare workers meet real jerks everyday that make their work hard and stressful. But, don't discount the patients that do appreciate healthcare workers. At any rate, from a personal perspective I cannot recommend this practice. I was originally going to give this review 1 star but for the sake of Laura and Jill I added a star."

"Dr. Eaker has the coldest, most aloof bedside manner. I was seeing another physician for severe upper GI pain and our next step was to undergo testing that required me to be put completely under. I had never met Dr. Eaker before the procedure, and I can say he did not make me feel comfortable or confident. This was several months ago now, and I have yet to receive a phone call or letter with any test results. Horrible experience with a terrible doctor. Go elsewhere. :( Also, the PA, Amy Brettmann, offers a negative patience experience as well. I rarely got to see the doctor I was scheduled with for my appointments and had to see Nurse Amy instead. She always rushed my appointments, discounted my questions or concerns, does not come off all that educated in the field, and never followed up. I had to repeatedly call the office to find out results from my various procedures and explain every time who I was and what I'd had done. Absolutely ridiculous."
