"My husband had an appointment for his yearly checkup yesterday and I decided to go with him as he forgets some of the questions he has for the doctor. He saw Dr Schmoll and was assisted by Marlene the LPN. First of all I was very impressed by the facility. It was extremely clean and the facility is very new and modern. Marlene was so personable and informative. She asked pertinent questions especially about depression and PTSD. And expressed the VA's concern about the many Veterans with mental health issues and how the VA is very concerned about the number of suicides of Veterans. She also presented my husband with a Vietnam service pin which meant a lot to us as we didn't even know there was such a thing. Dr Schmoll was extremely personable with a pleasing sense of humor. He asked a lot of questions and went over each item we had on our list. My husband asked about the process of getting his meds from the VA and Dr Schmoll addressed the question and set him up to receive his meds through the VA. He prescribed a new med for my husband and recommended he try it and see if he notices a positive response to it. He didn't act like he was rushed or too busy to listen. We were both extremely impressed with the facility, Marlene and Dr. Schmoll."
"When the clinic first open they were awesome. Now that they are up and running they seem to matching up to bigger hospitals. The quality of care does not match that of what I received when I treated at a KU. Wait times are long not in the lobby but in the exam room. They rush you while you are in the with doctor."
