"Brent and Shawna from TRANSITIONS were here today 3/2/18 at 10:30am Wanting me to sign a legal document stating "I understand that abusive Behavior towards any professional at BURRELL BEHAVIORAL HEALTH will result in being discharged from Services. I understand that staff have the right to end session if they feel uncomfortable. Staff will educate me on appropriate behavior and work to teach me skills to improve my communication and relationships with others." I asked Brent to write down on the same paper for me to sign saying that any Professionals at BURRELL BEHAVIORAL HEALTH understands that ANY type of abusive Behavior towards me or my family will not be allowed and that I also have the right to end Session if I am uncomfortable. Brent laughed and said that he would not do that, I asked him why my rights can not be protected he said "you do not have any rights and that this is to protect BURRELL." I asked him if I could call someone or have someone present or even reschedule this appointment for another time at THEIR office so someone can break this down for me so I can better understand exactly what this paper means Brent said "you're an intelligent person figure it out yourself" again I asked for a non-biased person to be present to help in this situation, smiling he then said that "your services will be terminated because of your non-compliance of signing the paper." I only asked for help to understand whats going on im NOT refusing to sign. He then got up and as they were leaving said that "your services are now terminated and good luck on getting a therapist or any help from Burrell." I'm so confused can someone please direct me to whom I need to speak with about what to do next?"
