Family Medical Walk-In Clinic

"They got me in and out as quick as they could and treated me with care and kindness. The nurse who helped me, Cara, was great and I really appreciated her bedside manner. The PA, Kevin, was professional and courteous. I highly recommend them!"

"Extremely dissappointed with the family medical walk in clinic in republic. Many incidents with them but today takes the cake. I go in with my husband and our 3 children (8, 7, and 1.5 years old), they say my son has an infection in his eye so we get antibiotics sent in to the pharmacy 4 hours later a police officer is at my door asking us where a stethoscope is. My husband is confused and the officer says the walk in wants to press charges for us stealing a stethoscope. We are not doctors and have no need for a stethoscope and the last thing on our minds is stealing. My husbands mother just passed yesterday and our son is sick. They said they have a video I asked for it and the police officer said "yeah, we're not doing that". We searched the car with the officer and obviously nothing was found. Very insane to me"

"I'm still baffled by this entire experience. I went in several weeks ago with a hurt wrist after a fall, and before the doctor/NP (I don't remember which) even got all the way into the room she said "I don't think it's broken." Weird, maybe look at it first? So she does, and agrees to do an x-ray. We get back to the x-ray room and it's sooooo dusty. She does the scans, and says "oh yeah you might have cracked it." I go over for her to show me and she's pointing it out, but then says, "Oh, that's just a vein." Then, on our way out, she says "I'm not an x-ray tech though." I left and called my PCP, who got me in for a less questionable x-ray a few days later (and made sure to let me know that none of my veins were visible.) Then, a few weeks later, I received a check in the mail reimbursing my copay. Cool....except this week I got a bill from them? I do not understand."

"The receptionist decided to tell us all about her opinion on the Covid vaccine, unprovoked, when we asked about getting one for our child. She said "I don't know, don't have one, won't get one. It's a joke" we didn't ask her opinion and as someone who works at a medical facility, DO BETTER! The rest of the staff was great so for them, I'll give 3 stars but please get a new receptionist because she is just rude."

"Excellent experience! The doctor, nurses & staff were incredible. My daughter was very sick & needed a lot of care. They took the time to listen & treat her with respect & compassion. They did an IV for fluids & additional medicine. The doctor was able to give recommendations to treat the cause & prevent it in the future. I will definitely be back if we ever have the need arise."
