No said anything about coming in early when appointment was made. So I called them and the person I spoke with was very rude and not helpful at all. "My husband and I are monthly members, and we could not be happier. Dr. McRae has been our primary care physician for just over a year now, and we’re very glad we found him. My husband had 2 major surgeries in a very short time frame last year, and I don’t know what would have happened if we hadn’t found Dr. McRae and Dr. Roark. My husband was in a lot of pain. He’d had several bad experiences with doctors either just prescribing more pain pills that he didn’t want, or treating him like he was faking his pain just to get more pills. He was starting to lose hope that he would ever get his life back and he was terrified of becoming addicted to pain pills. Dr. McRae took him seriously and he actually showed us different pressure points to help with muscle spasms and how to release tight muscles. He talked seriously about medical marijuana. (the THC patches are great for this by the way!) He gave us tools to take control of my husband’s pain instead of his pain controlling us and THAT is powerful medicine. Our lives are practically unrecognizable today. We will be running the Wizard Run 5k together this weekend to celebrate the one year anniversary of his 2nd surgery as well as our 20th anniversary…yes it’s the same day.❤️ (I’m not crying…you’re crying! Lol!) To say we love Roark Family Health is an understatement. It gives us so much peace of mind, knowing all of the services that are included with our monthly payment. We have health insurance, but our deductible is so high that it basically only covers life and death stuff. The savings on his blood pressure meds and monitoring alone are enough to make it worthwhile for us. I seriously feel good about it when I see our monthly payment on our credit card statements because it actually feels like an investment in our health, as opposed to feeling like I’ll only get my money’s worth if I almost die this year.
