"I don’t want to give this place a bad review because I think the average customer will be pleased. I had a facial and a massage. The facial was great except for the extraction… it was a tiny difficult millia and now that I’m home I can see that my skin was damaged in the removal. As a fair skinned woman I’ll likely scar and this is right by my eye so very obvious. The aesthetician was really lovely and engaged and had a very healing vibe. Except for the extraction it would have been my best facial ever. EDITED TO SAY: I did not scar so am bumping up the stars on my review. The massage started off good but the tech seemed disinterested… started 15 minutes into the hour, left the light on until she came back, didn’t manage the leg bolster, lost her strength and level of pressure about halfway through and thus barely worked on the two knots I had in my shoulder and neck… which was the biggest reason for the massage so it was wasted money. She also never came back after I dressed with water or anything after, she was just gone. Weird. Finally, the place itself had some issues… This is in a busy shopping district so allow an extra 10 minutes to park in the parking garage and walk over. The room I had my facial in must’ve been near a work room because near the end of my appointment there were, no exaggeration, about 30 door slams in a 10 minute period. Not super relaxing and not a good practice for a spa. When I first got there, I used the restroom and a tech was leaving the restroom in front of me and did not bother to replace the toilet paper on the roll, although there was toilet paper evident. It was odd that none of the clocks had been changed since daylight savings. Maybe to some not a big deal, but to me, indicating a lack of attention to detail that could indicate other hidden issues. This place will pressure you immediately after to sign up for monthly services. Idk why places do this right after. Call me the next day and you’ll have more luck. Inconsiderately pitch me right after and I’ll never sign."
