Reviews of Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Moberly Lane
"I like working with the Mercy network. They really care about their patients and communicate very efficiently. When I come here I see Tu. She is extremely polite and helpful with all my questions. 10/10 would recommend."
"Let me start by saying I loved dr. Stallings. With that being said over the last year it has become impossible to get an appointment with her for anything unplanned, as you know we can’t plan illness. I was having an issue and needed seen pretty quickly and dr. Stallings was booked out for 2 months. Frustrated I ended up going to a mercy go health only for them to tell me the tests I needed would have to be ordered by my primary care physician. I called back tried to talk to them see if I couldn’t get it a little sooner (I was having nerve pain from my back and needed imaging) because I was missing work and in terrible pain, nothing 2 months wait. I was upset but understood I asked if there were any other doctors that could see me the receptionist recommended a nurse practitioner that was close to my home and could get me in quicker. I was not told at this time that seeing this practitioner would mean that I would no longer be dr. Stallings patient and would have to re-establish care (which takes months). So here I set needing another appointment being told it will be months to re-establish care with her, the nurse practitioner I seen last didn’t have any appointments. The odd thing is I can go to someone else random quicker that I can see the dr I had established with and seen for over 2 years because in a time of need I had to see a different doctor or pay a huge emergency bill."
"Do not use this office they don’t know how to bill correctly. I went for initial primary care visit to set up my care and short time later for a checkup. I paid my $45 copay and they billed my visit as “specialized”. This doubled my copay to $90 each visit and disputing for 4 months with billing. Avoid using or make sure initial and every visit after they are competent on how to bill your visit."
"Dr. Carter and all the staff at Mercy have always been very nice, compassionate, and professional. Dr. Carter is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He takes time to listen, never makes you feel rushed, and has made suggestions and referrals that have helped me to improve my health. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good primary care doctor."
"First, let me say I loved Dr. Jones, her nurse and most of the staff. They have a policy if you are 15 minutes late your appointment will be cancelled, which I understand. I got tied up at work and worked two hours overtime and missed an appointment. Next appointment, I again was tied up at work, but called 5 minutes after to let them know I was on my way and would be there in 5 minutes. I walked in @2:11 and she informed me my appointment had been cancelled and there was nothing available for two weeks. After speaking with my Drs nurse, I had an appointment the next day. Fast forward to today. Monday morning I was separated from my job.Was driving by today so I stopped in to see when my appointment was, as I knew it was Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and it was important not to miss it. I had it written on my calendar at work. I apologized and asked to reschedule and was told as it was the third appointment I had missed (one due to the same woman) they would not reschedule me. I do understand the importance of scheduling and would have paid for my missed appointment, but that was not an option. I now have no Dr. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and we were working on getting that under control. If you do decide to go here, please be sure to always be on time and don't miss an appointment. Life happens and sometimes things beyond our control do too. Apparently not to this receptionist. Again I want to stress how genuinely nice, helpful and caring the rest of the staff is. One bad apple..."
