"I had two appointments made for me and both times I showed up they told me I didn't have one. They had to scramble to put me with other people just so I could get my medications. I had to miss even more work to do these appointments. They put me with another doctor that told me he would prescribe my medication once but I would have to stop taking my other medication otherwise he wouldn't prescribe again. There is no research or conclusive medical evidence showing that the two medications would react negatively and therefore no reason to withhold my medications that I need. In fact, the very little research that has been done with the two medications shows they actually benefit each other. They said they were going to try and put me with someone else. That person canceled my appointment to go on vacation and now no one there will help me. They acted like it was my fault. I am going to go through withdrawal now because of them and it could have been avoided. This is the most unprofessional medical office I have ever dealt with-and the first time anyone has told me they had a problem with the medications I was taking. Everyone that works there should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for this. If you are looking for decent mental health care and rely on medications- you need to avoid this place. The appointment thing did not just happen to me. One of the people I spoke with admitted that it had been happening to a lot of people that had appointments there. The first day I went to try and make an appointment there was a woman at the desk complaining about the very same thing. Places like this are the reason mental health care in the U.S. is so terrible."
"I was there as someone who was supporting someone else. I do not have issues with anxiety often nor do I have suicidal thoughts nor am I depressed, but after one visit to this clinic, I am appalled at how this place goes about helping anyone. I felt like my friend was nothing more than a number. Problems were not discussed, meds were increased and there was a whole lot of verbal verificationAs to what my friend was currently doing per the prescribed medicines and visits which shouldn't have been questioned since the nurse asked all 5hese questions in preparation for the DR. already. There was a big disconnect considering that the Doc was on a T. V. Screen and not there in person, and again, there weren't any reasons, causes, suggestions, or theorys mentioned about problem awareness or solutions except where meds were concerned. It literally felt too cold, clinical, and made me feel very anxious. Talk about your 1984 feel... I couldn't wait to get out of there. Different settings in the rooms rather than bare walls, and white paint, in addition to a different personal approach would have been much more affective."
"I have had a great experience here. My daughter has been receiving services for over a year, and I've been going for about a year myself. The staff is very friendly. My daughter's therapist is phenomenal with her. The girls at the front desk are always friendly and very helpful. I'm very happy with the services we have here."
