Reviews of Sano Orthopedics
"I had both of my hips replaced by Dr Timothy ROBERTS. I was fully informed of all processes and expectations. The office staff was engaging and professional. I was a nurse for 45 years. I have seen the best and the worst. Sano and Dr. ROBERTS gave me the very best. Congratulations to your team."
"Wonderful reception and care team! Dr Roberts is awesome and made me feel so comfortable and he has such an upbeat attitude and receptive manner. I felt completely at ease making the decision for a full hip replacement."
"I recently visited Sano Orthopedics after being referred by my primary care physician due to chronic back pain following an injury three months ago. I felt compelled to share my experience, as it left me feeling disheartened and unsupported. Upon arriving at the spine clinic, I met with a Physician's Assistant who, unfortunately, displayed a complete lack of empathy or bedside manner. Having already undergone 20 chiropractic sessions and receiving advice to seek medical intervention, I was hopeful for a clear diagnosis and a plan for improvement. Regrettably, the PA's approach was far from reassuring. She described my condition using words like "old, crusty, and decrepit," which not only lacked professionalism but also showed a complete disregard for the emotional impact of such language. I believe that even when delivering challenging news, medical professionals should strive for a more compassionate and considerate communication style. What was even more disappointing was the absence of any constructive information or guidance on how to manage my pain or potential avenues for improvement. Instead, I left the clinic with a bleak outlook, feeling more lost than ever. Without even seeing the radiology report, she was quick to sell me her personal workout plan, which could very well cause further injury without having a proper diagnosis. This lack of thorough examination and the hasty recommendation of a workout plan raised serious concerns about the quality of care provided. The subsequent radiology report revealed three bulging discs at T7, T8, and T9, a critical detail that was overlooked during my visit. Additionally, the PA at Sano Orthopedics minimized my pain, dismissing it as arthritis. This oversight, coupled with the inappropriate language used, further diminished my confidence in the clinic's ability to provide comprehensive and empathetic care. I understand that not all conditions have easy solutions, and difficult news may need to be delivered. However, I believe that a little kindness and a more patient-centered approach could have made a significant difference in my experience. A care plan or at least some suggestions on how to cope with the pain would have been greatly appreciated. In conclusion, my visit to Sano Orthopedics was not only medically unhelpful but emotionally and financially draining, and time-consuming. I have opted to have my primary care physician refer me elsewhere to receive the level of care that comes with kindness, compassion, and experience. I hope that by sharing my experience, the clinic can reflect on the importance of compassionate communication and strive to create a more supportive environment for their patients."
"Dr. Daggett did a phenomenal job on my reverse shoulder replacement surgery. He was clear on what the procedure would be, what type of recovery to expect, and encouraging about the results of the procedure. Medical office staff was professional, timely, and answered all the questions. The group is extremely responsive. My surgery was 12/29/23 & the date of this review is 1/11/24."
"I had shoulder surgery by Dr Cullen. Surgery went well & Dr Cullen took the time to answer my questions when I had appointments. The office has a nice atmosphere with the EXOS Physical Therapy & same day surgery located in the same building. The ability to ask questions to the doctor's staff through the text portal was convenient & Stephanie answered quickly. The only area of improvement would be to have more detail in the post-surgery instructions."
