"My 21 year old daughter needs a new neurologist. She has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Dysautonomia, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. The former two are treated by cardiologists and allergists. Thought since EDS isn't super well known what better place to go than a teaching/research hospital. Nope. They won't see her because they aren't experienced in EDS. WELL GET EXPERIENCE! Do you think her pediatric neurologist was experienced? He took research I had done and ran with it. He went to conferences. He used my daughter as a learning tool and he ended up treating many other EDS patients. Shame on you KU! Imagine how you could teach an entire new generation of doctors about this unknown disease. Your website says your patients come first. I guest those are the ones you pick and choose."

"Tried to get my mother with seizures and memory issues scheduled, and they won’t see her for NINE MONTHS!! Who even does that? Are they just hoping she has a massive one and dies before then?? I am disgusted. Not only that, they only offered and appt with one of their lowest rated doctors. NO THANK YOU! Shame on you!"

"I had to reschedule my appointment, per KU Med's conflict. When I called to do that the first time, the man that I spoke to was kind enough, but not very helpful; almost insulting. I called back and spoke to LaQuitha, who was AMAZING!!! She was VERY helpful, and did everything that she could to make sure I got in. Great job, LaQuitha! Keep up the GREAT work!"

"Can't get into the place. I'm losing my eyesight and have signs of CNS involvement. They scheduled me for July. Then called to push it to October! Why claim you take new patients if you can't get them in for almost a year?"
