"Nothing but PROBLEMS. My first ever appt i immediately knew something was wrong. The ultrasound tech printed off my ultrasound photos, gave me 2 and saved some for herself. Now, I know they are not kept for professional reasons as that would’ve been done electronically. Then she suddenly quits?? I complain and they said she no longer works there and apologized. Sweet talked me to stay. Second in office appt: no record of my appt even though their office managers assistant or scheduler from ultrasound MADE the appt herself. It’s like airport security checking in and they lost my insurance cards. I complain again and the office manager seriously tried manipulating me and gaslighting me to the FULLEST extent. I had enough at this point because how unprofessional. Zero accountability. Their phone number listed on google does not reach their office if you have any concerns or need to get ahold of them. I requested my medical records be transferred. For MONTHS. They legally cannot do this. My hospital of choice requested my records, I’ve requested my records. No luck. I refuse to see them so they’ve chosen to be petty. They know I cannot receive care without hose medical records and they’ve been withholding them. I finally have to go in because I have covid and in preterm labor and they made me wait HOURS for pain medication and I had to request a new nurse because the one I had was snotty and unprofessional to say the least. Literally trying to get me to NOT take pain meds and ran every drug test in the book AFTER I recieved medication looking for a drug problem. Sends in another nurse “I just wonder if there’s something else going on here.” Basically hinting at a drug problem like I wasn’t having contractions every 2 min with COVID. Highly unprofessional and I knew at that point my drug tests spoke for themselves that there was no problem and previous drs appts with urine results would prove no issue. But I could see where they were going and I was not going to have accusations or have my child medically kidnapped. So truman would no longer service me ever again. Still for weeks been calling and sending release of information forms, my hospital of choice has sent it numerous times, we’ve filled this paperwork out so many times and faxed it not just to records but OFFICE MANAGERS. They are purposefully withholding my medical records so I cannot receive care unless it’s by them. So I get to use L&D triage at my hospital of choice every time it’s appropriate for me to have an APPT because I cannot have a regular appt due to not having this information sent. Lawyers are about to get involved. I expect this to get sorted as I’m 38 weeks pregnant and best believe I will use the fullest extent of the law full force if anything goes wrong with my labor or delivery due to TMC negligence to send over my records being HIGH RISK."
"Fantastic doctors who actually listen and will answer your questions without rushing you out of the room. Straight forward and honest while still being sensitive to the struggles we're going through."
"The most dysfunctional, careless hospital I've ever dealt with. Seems every doctor is a resident..they have no idea with real patient care consist of. One gets better care at state-funded Truman Medical then at KU Medical Center ."
