"My daughter goes to this clinic. No other option in Chillicothe except one private practice doc. St. Luke's owns this hospital and most in near towns. It takes days to get refills approved. Do them on month by month, no longer. So it's a hassle all the time. Substandard care from them all the time, for people who have no other option. It's a monopoly. If I could give less than one I could. Pharmacy faxes like they say to do and they take at least 4-5 days to reply. Call to talk to them and it makes little to no difference."

"Horrible. I showed up for an appointment for my daughter to get her seen her appointment was at 1:45 on Friday I get there they say they can't find her and then said that they had her scheduled for Thursday at that time which is not what I made her appointment for. Horrible and not okay. Missing work and not trying to fix what they messed up! I also drove from chillicothe to Brookfield back to chillicothe and now back to Brookfield!! Thanks for nothing someone needs to fix this or pay for my gas."
"Let me start off by saying, when you go to the Dr. you generally expect to be helped. Not in this case. We just moved to the area and I was having severe pain in my left lower back. Having never before had a kidney stone but after talking to others that had, I suspected that is what is was. I made an appointment and was told Dean Atkins (RN FNP) would be the person to see me. After the typical questions by the nurse, Mr. Atkins came in. I told him what was going on, that I had used a heat pad, taken lots of Ibuprofen and other meds for the pain that was at a 9 level to help and thought maybe it might be a kidney stone. He almost sounded apologetic and told me they might have to get more invasive. He said they would like to get a urine and blood test and maybe an xray. I said OK, what ever it takes. He went out and the nurse came in and took me for the urine test then took me to the lab where they drew blood. After the blood was drawn, the lab tech pointed to the door and said that was the exit. I went into the waiting room expecting to go to have an xray taken. After several minutes, I asked the receptionist if they were going to come get me for an xray. She said she would go check with Mr. Atkins. She came back out and said no. I asked her what about anything for pain management. She went back in, came out and told me that Mr. Atkins could not prescribe anything and if I had any more problems, I should go to the emergency room. WHAT!!!!!!! Two days later, I did just that. I went to the emergency room at the Cameron hospital where I explained what was going on. They started an IV, gave me some pain meds, ran the same urine and blood tests that were done at Hedrick Family Care and finding the same results, sent me for a CAT scan. Finding that there was no kidney stone, and asking me some back ground of what I had been doing the last couple of weeks, the Dr. told me that it was more than likely a severely strained muscle and gave me a prescription for pain relief and muscle relaxation. There was a hospital and Dr. that cared. I would NEVER go back to Hedrick medical center again."
