Takes time to listen to you and truly cares. Just can’t say enough good things about her. Unfortunately, I only spent the summers in Julian, and then returned home in Az. "My daughter, who is two months shy of 2 years old, has a horrible wheezing sound coming from her chest along with a strange sounding cough. I took her to Dr. Blum for the first time today and I cannot say enough good things about this experience. My daughter is afraid of doctors. She began to cry a little as soon as we were taken to the examination room, but after Dr. Blum came in she didn't immediately approach her to start her exam. Dr. Blum took the time to help calm Ava, she brought out crayons and tried to bond with her. Dr. Blum heard the wheezing and said it was croup right then. However, after Ava calmed a little, she did a few examinations to make sure. When I offered my daughter her fruit snacks to help soothe her, Dr. Blum immediately asked if she could be the one to give them to her. This made a BIG impression on me as most doctors are just about getting you in, examined and out. Dr. Blum took her time and really focused on making my daughter feel comfortable with what was happening. This was the first time my daughter left a doctor's office without being in tears! We will be returning to Dr. Blum, and I do believe the whole family now has a family doctor we can all depend on. THANK YOU Dr. Blum!"
