"Freeman has the worst wait time in the ER.. I came in and was the only patient waiting! The waiting room was empty, and as I waited around, 1.5 hours (still waiting as I am typing this) into my wait the room filled up with people. The admissions lady checking people in, was so rude and hateful to every single person that came up to the window. If someone came up who wanted to visit with a patient in the back, she gave them grief. Being a previous employee, this really bothered me! Freeman needs to hire more people, and people that actually enjoy their jobs!"

"My veteran father was taken into the ER in pittsburg, Ks. After having countless bad experience with Via Cristis, I demanded my father be transferred to Freeman Immediately. They have a neurological department so I knew they would understand from the top down how to provide adequate care for my father given his unique & specific medical needs. The Drs, both internal medicine and Neuro, waited for my arrival as I am DPOA. Everything ran like butter; My father was obviously very comfortable, the nurses got paperwork for me to sign, the doctors (internal medicine and Neuro) both arrived swiftly.
