"DO NOT TAKE YOURSELF OR YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! If I could give zeros, it would be that. But in order to get my review up, it has to be a one. They do not do thorough inspections and do not take the time to care for their patients. Do not waste your time here, drive to Corydon, Chariton, Osceola, at least those places actually have better staff. Instead, they have a gynecologist who says that you either listen to him or get out. And then just loves to fat shame. To a doctor who didn't do their job and didn't prescribed medicine to a child. Now that child has to suffer due to that doctor's unprofessionalism and laziness. I hope the hospital rethinks on some of their doctors and decides to do the right thing. Awful. Awful. Awful."
"DCH is a wonderful asset to our small rural community! I've been an inpatient in both metro and mid-size community hospitals. DCH is small, neighborly, and every bit as professional and competent as I have experienced elsewhere."
"Honestly just a bad hospital in general, the staff seems like most of them were hired on because they simply needed staff, the ER and front desk honestly sounds clueless and disorganized on the phone. I’m choosing to go elsewhere and am absolutely not trusting this hospital with taking care of my family."
"The very best care I have had. Staff is very caring, professional, and attentive to patient needs. The new facility is gorgeous and so peaceful. Can’t say enough great things about this hospital and ambulance service. The community and visitors are lucky to have it! Thanks for being there when I needed medical services."
"I had a horrible situation that caused me to have to be taken to this hospital. The problem I have is that I passed out but I could still hear. I could hear MULTIPLE Dr's and nurses accusing me of faking and laughing saying "she won't be faking anymore once I put this Cathedr(sp) in her". And one of the nurses snatched hair clips out of my head and threw them across the room while also accusing me of faking and being unnecessarily rough with me. You better hope I do not decide to sue. None of you had an ounce of respect. I wish I DID die knowing there's hateful people in the world like you who are supposed to be HELPING PEOPLE but decide to mock them and disrespect them instead."
