"This was a cool little place. Inexpensive and comfy. The bathroom is little for a big guy like myself, but it works, and water gets warm. Right off the lake. A couple of minutes walk to the public fishing spot. I'll definitely go there again. The host is super nice too!"

"We stayed in the Orphan Annie #2 Cottage they are beautiful little quiet rooms single bed with a futon small bathroom kitchen silverware and utensils all provided for the rate and the location to the lake was amazing extremely clean will definitely be using them again"

"Owners are great nice people. This is not the Ritz but is a cute little resort on the waters edge! Cute little cabins that are rustic but quiet/clean. Relax...go fish to your heart's desire...sit outside your cabin and watch the fog roll out in the morning...enjoy the peacefulness ....go up the road to the pizza place/coffee shop/convince store....take a walk....or just relax relax relax. Only complaint would be that the air couldn't quite keep up on the 90 degree hot day and the hot water ran out fast. But you learn to adjust and chalk it up to vacay happenings! I love this place and would come back again!"

"Hands down worst experience I’ve ever had on a rental! I’m still infuriated about our unsanitary, unsafe reservation. While my 3 year old was napping I located a recently used hypodermic needle in the bathroom. The blood hadnt even dried yet! The worst part about the situation was that the “cleaning employee” was locking up after “cleaning” upon our arrival! When I confronted the owner he was more concerned about whether or not she grabbed the trash before she left! After properly removing the needle I advised the owner that we did not feel safe staying on the premises and we would be requesting a full refund. He did not seem concerned and told me to contact the travel site. I’ve been charged for two nights that I was unable to stay due to conditions. The owners have yet to reply, or reimburse me! Never would recommend this place to anyone! If there’s needles inside then there’s no telling what else they may have “overlooked”!"

"Just spent four nights at Duck Harbor with my family sharing two cabins. Great time had by one and all! It's not a spa. It's not a boutique vacation experience. It's a comfortable cabin -- clean and well kept for anglers and families that enjoy the opportunity to escape at the end of a day of shopping or fishing. The kitchenette is equipped with good coffee pot, toaster, microwave, full-size refrigerator, gas stove, pots, pans, and dinnerware -- all perfect for a little privacy after a day fishing or doing the Branson shopping-show thing. Comfortable, if not the latest style mattresses, and, a good supply of hot water and water pressure for showers/baths."
