"My sister and I had the pleasure of staying in the Sloane Cottage at the Rod and Reel early in July of 2023. The Sloane is a studio cottage with a king size bed, kitchenette and bathroom with double sinks. It even has a washer and dryer! The entire cottage and everything in it looked brand new! Spotless! It had lots of windows and a high ceiling that made it feel bright and cheery. One of the best parts about the cottage was the bed! It was so comfortable! I normally toss and turn on any bed away from home - but not here! I slept so soundly that I’m not sure I even moved once all night! I woke up so refreshed! And the night was so quiet! Everything about the cottage and the surroundings felt so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed a cup of coffee at the little table on the front porch in the morning, followed by a relaxing swim in the lake off the dock. The water was calm and there weren’t many people about. I could imagine my grandchildren wading in the water along the shore, skipping rocks, jumping off the dock onto the enormous floating pad, or taking the paddle boat out for a spin. Every cottage had a grill for cooking out, a fire pit for making s’mores, private parking, a wagon to carry towels, tubes etc. down to the lakefront. One of our favorite places to visit near Shell Knob is Dogwood Canyon for a bike ride and Branson isn’t a far drive for food and entertainment. If you’re out on the lake check out the Skinny Dip Ice Cream Shop at Campbell Point Marina for a tasty treat! After a busy day out and about it was wonderful to come back to our beautiful, quiet cottage at the Rod and Reel! Anyone of any age will love it here! We highly recommend it!"

"This resort is absolutely beautiful. The cottages are gorgeous and they are impeccably clean. The boat dock is huge and in a great location next to a very wide section of the channel. Staying here is the perfect combination of a luxury hotel and lake life. You’ll find everything you need at the Rod and Reel to relax and enjoy the magic of Table Rock Lake.
