Regal Northstar

"Went to see Dune at a noon showing. I asked for a heaing impaired device. I was provided a set of glasses and a square power pack that would project closed captioning onto the glasses. I was also provided a brief instruction on its use (not difficult). The device was turned on and actually worked perfectly on one of the preview trailers. However it never worked again all during the movie. The power pack was on, showing a green light and I could see a banner saying "CC on #13". That banner was displayed the entire movie, but displayed no dialog. When I returned them after the movie, three employees listed to my description of what happened, then said thanks and left. No offers of reimbursement of any kind. If you need one of these devices, consider another theater. The employees are less than helpful and their equipment is faulty."

"My seat was broke. They was very uncomfortable. They was low to the ground and hard.someone was smoking a nasty cigarette. There was to many ad (commercials)before the movie started. We wanted to see clips of movies coming. We was on the back row and could hear the people upstairs playing the movie talking and laughing during the movie. Also the young man waiting on us kept getting our order wrong. I'm glad Joplin is getting a new theater. Very disappointed for being out first time."

"Lots of candy options compared to other area theatres. Love the options for sizes in each of the drink/popcorn combos.most places only offer large or kiddie size in the combos. Very nice employees. Loved that they also offered pre packaged single ice creams. Overall,very surprised by options and a Good movie experience."

"Unfortunately the theater is old. However it is nicely cleaned & maintained. I wear hearing aids. I took them out, but sound was still very loud! Wish I would have had some cotton or earplugs available. It is well known loud noise causes hearing loss. This would certainly be too loud for a normal hearing person. We were not attending a rock concert or even a war movie. The decibels should be checked."

"We escaped on a Tuesday to watch a movie and took advantage of the half price tickets and popcorn. The environment isn’t brand new and doesn’t have reclining seats, but it was very clean and comfortable. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return."
