"I was excited to see a Sporting KC store added, as a STM holder and SKC Cauldron member it was certainly something I would be interested in and would make time for eventually So when I got an email stating there would be a special Supporters Days Sale that would include a 25% off, that you would need your Cauldron member card to even get access. I figured it was time to take a look. I was greeted by two people unpacking items on the display, all the way in the back. They never directly interacted with me while I perused the offerings. Seriously not once did I get asked if I was looking for anything in particular, they didn't check my cauldron card, it's christmas so I expect the smallest amount of cliche sales oriented behavior. It wasn't until I had gone through the store taking pics, that I just asked about their available Big and Tall sizes, that I finally actually got interaction from the staff, and they were helpful, only two items were Big and Tall. I already had one of the items. I have complained to my sales rep, and people at the stadium for Sporting KC to get into the Big and Tall sizes and improve the variety in general, as other teams have a way better variety of merchandise than SKC in general let alone Big and Tall sizes. Seriously it should be a crime to have pull over hoodies, yet not zip up ones... I honestly didn't really expect much to the sizing options, but there was curiosity to the variety of merchandise being offered, maybe even the services available, like custom tees, or custom jerseys, just something that would make it maybe unique. This is a standalone store, there's plenty of approaches to make this intersting to non fans and thus a success in general. To be perfectly blunt, They dont offer anything, its a cookie cutter CMP store. I have no clue how this store got the green light from someone in the club. From a fan perspective I am probably never going to get my Big and Tall sizes after this review, maybe I'll even get yelled at. Yet if we're making this bad of a decision to make a store, I pray the same people don't have input on how the club runs on the field. It's litterally two blocks away from a RallyHouse on the same street... It doesn't offer anything major that you couldn't pick up at a game at CMP, there was a skateboard board and a gameboard that I hadn't seen before. However given that looking is quite hard when there's barely any light maybe I missed something. Also an event that was supposed to make the Supporters feel appreciated, really just wasn't that, especially when your told to come back that week for better deals. The entire affair was just a waste of time sadly. I think if you want to get some SKC swag go to RallyHouse or Kansas Sampler given their locations. Hopefully, I am wrong that the opening was just done quickly for the holidays and everything will get better."
