"My husband is from a small town. He tells childhood stories of walking to the local drug store to get something for his Nana and getting a fountain drink or milkshake and burger for himself. I had never experienced that UNTIL we stopped overnight in Hamburg, Iowa. It was such a delight to meet the ladies working there and enjoy being part of their small town for the day!"

"My husband and I stopped by on our honeymoon back in 2009. I had so much fun in this store. I still talk about it to this day. I hope I can visit one day again. We stopped because the signs on the side of the road pointed towards it. I couldn't stop laughing and bugged my new husband to stop. "Small Town store with Gifts and a very Nosey Rude Pharmacist. This is where Seniors can Get a Cup of coffee for 50 cents and pay 25 for a refill. A microwave Hamburger or a Milkshake. No grill or fryer at the advertised Malt shoppe. A good gossip central for Locals in Hamburg. Upon entering you will receive the Staredown and be treated only nice to get your $. T shirts n Souvenirs of the Area. I would NOT recommend spending my Money there."

"Stoner Drug is more than a small town pharmacy. Besides the amusing name, this drug store is the hub of activity on Main street. They have a full service soda fountain, serving ice cream and pouring your sodas to order. The popcorn is always fresh (as you would expect in the town that hosts an annual "Popcorn Days" festival). The staff is very friendly and welcoming."
