"Hired to remove the bathtub, install a walk in shower, and change the tile flooring to vinyl plank, not a full renovation. The problem started when she would not listen to our requests or give a firm price on the cost. We said from the start we did not want to go over $8,500. We gave them a check for $3,500 on 8/14 for the shower package. The job was not completed until 10/28. She finally turned up with the final invoice that was to be itemized this week charging $12,5++. I hit the roof! How do you charge $730 for accounting, $650 for electrical supplies (we purchased the lights and switches used), and the other charges were just as bad. We did not have a full bathroom remodel and she was charging us for a full remodel. We were able to get $1,500 off the bill but it still was for more than it should have been. This town seems to be one large rip off!"
