"My wife and I wanted to refurbish our entire home from floor to ceiling. I had just retired after 50 years working as a project manager for a commercial construction company so I understand proper installation procedures and costs, but neither my wife or I have the vision or design sense to coordinate the colors and materials needed to make sure that our house would look great. We had interviewed another design firm, but when we met to review their proposal, we discovered that they really had not listened to us at all during our initial walk-thru.
