Comfort Inn & Suites Olathe - Kansas City 12245 South Strang Line Road, Olathe, KS 66062

"Overall a pretty good hotel, room was nice, check in easy and standard breakfast you get with Comfort Inns. Gave a 3 instead of 4 because hotel is right on interstate and my room was on that side. Very loud traffic noise and hard to get to sleep. If my room was on the other side of building, doubt it would have been an issue"

"I have stayed at many Comfort Inn's, I won't dog them too hard for the HUGE spider that was on my pillow when we checked in, the staff was great about getting us moved to a different room, so for that reason I gave more than one star. (I do realize that sometimes spiders are out of their control) As far as the second room, there was an outlet in the bathroom area (sink and mirror area) that DID NOT work. The door handle to the bathroom (toilet and tub area) was broken, you couldn't shut the door completely because the handle would not operate the release. I will say that the breakfast was pretty good, but you really should provide just plain tea bags, not everyone enjoys the flavored stuff. When I checked out and voiced my concerns I just felt like I got blown off, the poor guest that gets put in that room next is in for a surprise when they try to get ready and use the outlet or try to close the door to the bathroom. I will find another place to stay when I am in Olathe again to see my daughter."

"This place was so dirty. The elevator was broken, our room had dried blood on the sheets, pillowcases, and hand towels—they apologized and gave us clean but that was it. If we could have gone elsewhere we would have. The staff were kind, but we should not have paid full price for this as that’s a health hazard. Left feeling like we needed to deep clean everything we had with us."

"I’m very fair with my rating based on my experience I’d give this hotel a 4.0. I stay at hotels frequently because my husbands career path forces us to do so. There was issues I have which I will go into detail about but all these issues WERE dealt with for the most part! Number one, being a successful business woman myself I notice small details… such as a clean room. As I walked in there where hand prints on the tv screen, spots on the mirror, blood stains on the wall, hairs in the bed, and the drain was plugged in the bath tub and ended up making us switch rooms after my children ended up dirtier after taking a shower then we walked in. However…. The staff was amazing absolutely committed to taking care of the issue from the drain problem switched us to another room absolutely no problem. The next room was still fairly dirty still noticed spots on all the glass, however with the price point, and the staff being so accommodating I think this hotel just needs a little support and structure as far as cleaning goes, other then that none the less a decent place to stay. It all depends on you an your needs.. for me I was kind of loosing my mind but again the price was a steal for this day and age. If you can’t handle simple inconveniences as far as your par of cleanly goes… it might just be best to stay at another hotel within a local town."
