"Visiting grandchildren stationed at Ft. Leavenworth. While they went to school, I visited Union Station and the Planetarium. Well worth my time. Stayed for 4 planetarium shows and enjoyed all! Went to gift shops in Union Station and Science Center and found unique gifts as well as Kansas City memorabilia. Good vacation place to visit, alone or as a family."
"The live space showing was very cool and educational! Whoever did the lecture on feb 4th at 3pm did a wonderful job and was very fluent in her approach. I think her name was Jessica (don't quote me on that though) Some guy was snoring and said "this is boring" after waking up. I'm leaving this review because I want to assure you that it was the complete opposite. You did a amazing job and me and my girlfriend had an amazing time. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!"
"One star... the sun. Two stars: Sirius and Polaris. Three stars, etc etc. We learned about every star in the sky, and then some. Our presenter Maddie was knowledgeable and professional, even while one heckler shouted "Moon's not real!" every other sentence. She was also kind enough to serve milk and cookies that were shaped like planets (round). Despite our differences in opinion on the "moon", I would be happy to come back whenever I'm in KC."
"Normally great but the holiday laser show is really disappointing. I wish we'd picked one of the other shows. My daughter and I left after 10 minutes. Doesn't use the entire screen and the animations are simple. I wish someone had been working the desk to ask for a refund which I never ask for but it was really bad. Surprising that a planetarium would be showing something like it."
