"A little place to go clear your head and take in some nature"
"If you live close, the children's playground here seems okay enough. I was looking for trails to walk though, so I came to the wrong place. It is a maze of trails that are not maintained and have plenty of trash on them. It was unclear which trail to take to the pond. This area seems to be for dirt bikes, so don't walk here and get ran over. It feels like it is not even part of the public park, and it feels unsafe."

"This park has the deepest wooded area in independence and some of the best although unmaintained trails and backs to rural areas and neighborhoods you can emerge on 24 hwy or a convent, draw back is because of this there are at times homeless camps but I would say They exist at all parks.. and can be cleared easily they may be the only reason the trails can be navigated as the city is obviously not doing this.. the nature may have a lot of invasive plans this also makes it the most beautiful smelling and looking forest areas I have seen at the right time of Year"
"Its pretty close to us so we take walks here from our house. Weve never really had time to sit and just watch people until today. It was pretty well rounded. Old and young. Sitting and playing and some with dogs. A couple on skates and a few on bikes. There was a couple of young kids with kites. Pretty fun filled day. We bring our grand kids here to wear them out as well."
