Super 8 by Wyndham Riverside/Kansas City

"I got off work this morning and came here to wait for my husband to arrive with our room key. The manager kicked me out of the lobby even though I explained that we have a room in my husband's name and that he was on his way back to the hotel. The manager said I had been waiting too long and implied I was homeless and that I didn't have a room there at all, even though I gave them the name the room is rented under. Wow. If this is how they treat their guests, I'd hate to see how they treat people they're not expected to be polite to. I will never come back here again. I would give zero stars if I could."

"The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained I highly recommend this motel. Breakfast was good and front desk is very helpful. This motel is a hidden gem that I will definitely return to on my next trip. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"Check in was awful. The receptionist made me change my reservation on my phone while I was standing right there and was very rude about it. The TV didn't even work when we got there and when I went down to the front desk to inquire about it they had to come up into my room to install a cable box that was missing from the room. The hot tub is very small and looks like it was installed in the living room where a couch used to be, and is surrounded by carpet. The beds are hard, and the TV is small. If it wasn't already 10 pm when I got here, I would ho somewhere else."

"The room smell like cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking unit. We stayed in room 203 the bathroom faucet yeah and handle Was loose showerhead was loose all to the point that they pretty much came out of the wall. It smelled like mildew as well."

"Wow this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Room 221 the roof leaks (water spots all over the ceiling), the air unit looks like someone took a crowbar to it or something, the tv and appliances are all unplugged when you get into the room. The microwave wouldn’t turn on. The shower was horrible and pipes were moving. There was a big fan at the end of the hall, if I had to guess it was to dry out the ceilings that were leaking. The whole place smelled of smoke. There is no elevator, just stairs. I paid almost $100 for one night but with the condition of this place I feel like they should have paid me for staying there! Not happy or impressed with this Wyndham Hotel, I’ve stayed in others with this brand and none have been this bad! It is right across from a casino which would normally make you think it was a nicer place but not this time. I don’t think they have ever remodeled it and it is definitely over 10 years old! I won’t be back unless they do some huge renovations!"
