"We've been staying at this hotel over the last 30+ years when in town to visit family, and despite the fact that it is clearly older, the rooms are always neat and clean, and the manager and staff accommodating and friendly. We had one room on the first floor, two on the second floor. All rooms were nice and clean, had a mini fridge and microwave, and TVs worked well."

"Worked here for a little while. Not paid by the hour 4.30 paid a room 3 for a stay over. Didn’t make enough money to even consider staying. Worked at a very fancy hotel and they didn’t like the way I was up keeping the rooms. Wasn’t accommodating to us either. Had to throw dirty sheets down to the first floor and had to carry cleaning supplies from room to room didn’t get to use a cart and get the room out of the way and cleaned quicker. Had to make multiple trips to clean the rooms and mind you, not getting paid by the hour, had to wait for dirty laundry to be washed and dried so we could stock the room back up. They didn’t want me spending too much time in a room, so I didn’t get to give much detail to cleaning windows, dusting, cleaning off phones, little things that do matter. They just wanted the sink wiped off and countertops wiped down, repositioned the curtains, made the bed and vacuumed that’s it. Very understaffed because it’s not worth the money because they are family owned so in other words they talk to any guests that have problems or check them in and out otherwise sit back and watch the money roll in while staff got paid way less than minimum wage. The cash I received was 50$ after a week of work. She didn’t want to go the direct deposit route unless we planned on staying because she expects her staff to just end up quitting. Only other housekeeper when I worked there was an older lady who had a bit of a hunched back and had a limp and has messed up teeth. Probably worked there so long she probably didn’t wanna leave. I know if she was getting paid a bit more it wouldn’t have been too much more because the owner would pick her up everyday she didn’t have a car. They don’t serve no breakfast in the morning and I’m pretty sure this place gave me bedbugs (good thing I live in an apartment so I didn’t have to pay for treatment) if you’re seriously contemplating staying here I would think again but if you do expect the least and hope for the best. And please tip the probably only one housekeeper who works there. Only good thing about staying at this place is the management will be good to you from the experience I’ve seen. And expect the housekeeper to be up keeping your room for a while especially on the top floor bc we had to come back to it multiple times to get dirty linen, to clean it, to grab the trash (which was also put into a pile until it was time to collect it all at once and throw it away so it looked real nice for the people staying) seriously, it’s cheap for a reason, and there maybe 4 other hotels in Nebraska city that’s worth spending the extra bit of money."

"Older but very well-maintained hotel. Currently not serving breakfast but coffee provided in the morning. Good value bed comfortable 4 pillows available in room which was much appreciated. Free wifi."

"STAY AWAY. The room was very humid and had a rancid smell. It was the only place that had available rooms last minute for the night. Got in my bed and it was stained with yellow all over. I didn’t say anything as maybe just a stain- I wish I would have said something when I saw it! Next morning- Woke up with daylight and saw brown smears ALL over the side of one of the beds and the staff was nowhere to be found. The sink looked like it had not been wiped down in months. Not a well kept up place."

"Spent the night passing through to Texas. Nothing fancy but did have small fridge and microwave in the room. Clean and quiet! Affordable and service was great!"
