Economy Inn

"The room had no smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. There were no cover plates on the a.c. outlets or light switches. Very poorly maintained. I only stayed because I was very tired and didn't want to look for another motel. The owner was loaded with excuses as to why his motel was so poorly maintained and why he would not meet state laws for fire protection, stating that he had made "special arrangements" with the fire marshal so he could avoid abiding by state law."

"In the process of a remodel, which seems it was really needed. The room was missing some outlet covers, and others didn't have dry wall all the way to them. That said for the price it wasn't bad."

"Very nice owner! The room I stayed in was in process of some updates, so it wasn't pristine. But the bed was comfy, I had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and even a convection oven. There was a couple bugs crawling around on the wall in my room, but they were NOT bedbugs so I wasn't super concerned. For the price it is not a bad place to stay, I would definitely stay there again if I'm in central city again"

"If you’re looking for a clean, moderately priced place to just spend the night, this is the place! The owner is wonderful. The beds, bathroom, and room are clean! Although the place may look older and not fancy at all, we’ve enjoyed this night much more than double the price of other hotels. Also pet friendly (there’s even a dog bed in our room)."

"If you are looking for an inexpensive room and don't need all the amenities the Economy Inn is the place to stay, they are friendly, personable,and accommodating, comfortable beds and good shower/bath. We were very happy with our stay and will look forward to staying again in the future."
