"Old lady that works overnight is horribly scary and unfriendly. I have her an ID and she seemed to demonstrate an attitude because she couldn't see. Squinted her eyes over and over and acted pissy after barcode wouldn't scan It is not just young people that act entitled and lazy"
"3 stars simply because I normally never have issues with this location. I get 95% of my gas here. I sometimes go in and grab a drink or snack or whatever. Today I did that. Filled my fountain drink, grabbed some m&ms and went to checkout. Got thru the whole process only to be told their EBT isn't working. Which is the only form of payment I had. The two male associates were kinda rude about it. Aside from that there is ZERO signage anywhere that EBT isn't currently being accepted, only signage indicating that it *is* accepted at this store."
"I was there at 4:45 pm on Saturday. The men’s restroom was filthy. I tried to purchase a water and sprite. I waited behind someone I thought was in line for longer than than what I thought was normal. The attendant who was at the other end of the counter and finally yelled out that I should use the self checkout. I tried to do this but again had to wait because the screen showed waiting for attendant. He again yelled out something and I could not hear him. I yelled what did you say. He did not respond so frustrated I said “ I don’t need this hassle” and left the the store. I found out the next morning that I was charged for the water and sprite. I guess I was scammed. I hope there won’t be any additional charges. I will be looking daily."
"I usually don't leave reviews but I had a bad experience here yesterday. My brother (12yo) and I (21 yo) were going biking at the meramec Greenway trail down the road from this location and decided the grab some drinks before heading over. I've never had a bad experience here before, I'm usually just in and out with whatever things I need. We decided to check out the charging cables near the front of the store since I don't have a charger for his phone. We went to grab one that was on the lower part of the rack and were about to simply slide it off the thing when one of the cashiers (I think she was blonde, didn't catch her name) immediately started yelling no at us and that we need a key. Didn't even offer to unlock it. She seemed very smug. This can be done in a more appropriate manner than she went about it (i.e "excuse me sir, if you'd like to buy that I'll need to come unlock it") I ended up having to be like "uh.. yeah we're trying to buy it." And then she was all nice and came over. Funny thing is I don't even think she unlocked it. Just slid it off like we were about to. The other cashier was chill though. She said to pay her no mind and we got the charger. Not sure if this location is experiencing a lot of theft lately or what, but maybe wait until someone actually attempts to steal something before you act like that."
"I rarely write reviews, and it takes a serious incident for me to waste my time with a bad review… I stopped in here for the second day in a row because I enjoyed the iced coffee machine they had. I drive past it every day but it’s out of my way to turn around at the intersection. The second time in I approached the cashier who gave me my total, $17 and change. I handed them a $20. I was given my bills and coins and as I put the bills on my clip, I was told that I was overpaid $2… I was confused because I already had a couple $1 bills on my clip… if I was overpaid, I wouldn’t have had any… the clerk explained to me with conviction that I was overpaid. I told them that wasn’t correct. The clerk then proceeded to throw a fit telling me that “The customer is always right in this world!” And then tried to guilt me by saying “well when my drawer is short, they’ll just take it out of my paycheck…” First of all, the way I was told I was overpaid was completely unprofessional. Second, if the cashier had counted change back properly, this “incident” would not have been an issue (speaking from gas station employment experience). Perhaps retraining is needed. Third, I know that a $2 discrepancy would not be taken out of their check. Last note: After thinking about the situation, I started wondering if I was being scammed… was the clerk trying to convince me to give them additional money?… The stern certainty when TOLD I was overpaid seemed to be over the top… If management wants to follow up with me, I will gladly give the date and time this happened, and if I was overpaid, I will gladly stop in to make it right and settle the tab. Otherwise, I’d like this looked at to confirm that attempted theft isn’t involved."
