"Fav Trip has a huge sign in their window saying they offer a Hero's discount (Military Veterans, Police Officers, Firefighters). When I make a purchase I would show my Military ID and I was given a whopping 10 cent discount. Today I went in and it was more, 15 cents. What an absolute joke. Most places that give Veterans a discount give a 10% discount. I can't believe they call this a discount. UPDATE: Thanks for your response. I understand what you are saying but 10 cents off a $10 pack of cigarettes is basically nothing and 15 cents off a $95 carton of cigarettes is really nothing. Why don't you change it to 10% like other establishments that offer a Veterans discount? Yes you may be the only convenience store that offers a discount but you could at least offer a 10% discount. Oh and you no longer accept the coupons for cigarettes that I get from Newport either. Good thing I'm going to quit smoking."

"i always come to fav trip for gas in the area as their gas prices are usually the best, but the staff inside are awesome as well. they have a little bit of everything inside, too, and is nice when i'm on my way out somewhere and haven't eaten yet. plus, their facebook has some hilarious videos of dumb thieves you can watch for a giggle."
