"Mike the carpenter is the reason to hire Cardinal Flooring, he is awesome and a true master carpenter of the installation process. I have an old city house that has settled and Mike made everything look uniform and even. I am thrilled with my kitchen. I would recommend cardinal, my kitchen is gorgeous, because they have awesome tradesman! The process would have been easier for me if communication was a priority. The process was longer than I was lead to believe. Just to give you an idea. 1 Week delay start Week 1 Holiday weekend (July 4th was on a Thursday) Gut-some wiring Week 2 Drywall and electric Week 3 Flooring and paint ceiling and 1 wall/dried wall interior wall Week 4 -tiled and finished flooring Week 5 floor cabinets installed, then wall cabinets Week 6 built cabinets for refrigerator and double oven/installed double oven Week 7 plaster work, painted wall, counter tops in, cook top and refrigerator installed Week 8 framed window, installed dishwasher, tile work and grout (backsplash) Week 9 finished framing for microwave, finish trim, electrical, wiring and water for dishwasher LOVE MY KITCHEN FROM CARDINAL!"

"I hired Cardinal Flooring for 2 projects. First was to replace all my upstairs carpeting. They had two guys arrive on a Saturday morning at 8 and had everything done by 3pm including the carpeted stairs. Their staff was very friendly and worked hard. We hired them to do a complete kitchen renovation. Our kitchen was outdated and needed a design overhaul. The project was to take approximately 4 weeks. My kitchen is completely unrecognizable with the new design and the finished product is gorgeous. We are very happy. I'll say this about the 4 specific employees I dealt with; they are exceptionally hard working. If there were anything that could be improved upon, I would say communication as we didn't often know when the workers were going to be there and our estimate was off a bit from the original projected amount but overall, we are extremely satisfied with the outcome of the kitchen. We have had friends asking who did our kitchen for future work for themselves."

"This is a difficult review to write. Jeff and his crew are truly nice, good people. Really enjoyed working with them. Finished work was very good and to our satisfaction. Jeff recommended some things be done, such as an island and large pantry cabinets that we were not considering as we thought our space was too small. It fit nicely and we are super happy with the result! We had, in my opinion, a pretty large job. Wood floors on first floor, carpet upstairs, all new kitchen and bathroom, not to mention painting throughout. That's the good part, which if quality is your main concern, as is mine, then Cardinal gets a 4-5 star. If timeliness is a concern, then some of the other reviews in my experience ring true. We were told 2-3 weeks without a kitchen. It turned out to be over 7 weeks! Yikes! People showed up late in some cases, usually left before 3 or 4, and usually were not there when we were told they would be. One week, we had 1 worker show up one day and no one the rest of the whole week. I think Cardinal was super busy and was trying their best to appease people by sending 1 worker to many different jobs. I could be wrong, but not sure what else could explain this aspect of our job. All in all, great work for a reasonable price, which is my main concern. Not to mention good people. Thanks Jeff!"
