"When I first walked in I was not greeted so I was a little skeptical. However, once me a my gf was seated we were taken care of I had a small issue with my drink and one of the owners who was really nice exchanged it for a new one which was delicious ! When the food arrived I ordered chicken lollipops, fried pork chops , Mac and cheese and greens my gf ordered shrimp and grits both 10/10 and super flavorful! We will definitely be back !"
"The food was fantastic. My only complaint was that the hostess didn't assign our table to anyone. Sabrina realized we weren't being served and took great care of us. Definitely will be back. We had the burnt ends as a starter and loved them. Done just right with a great honey bbq sauce on them. Two of us had the ribs, and two had the catfish. The catfish was wonderfully crisp and flakey. The ribs were good and had the same honey bbq sauce that was on the ends. The ribs had plenty of meat and came off the bone easily. The beans were very good, as was the Mac & cheese. If you like collard greens, you are in luck, theirs are very flavorful with a hint of molasses in them. We will have to sample dessert next time as we were all too full."
"We have been driving by this place everyday waiting for months and months for it to open and today we finally got to try it out for lunch. They did a great job building out the old gas station with a beautiful bar and great colors. There is much more seating than I thought they would have. I had the cheeseburger and fries my wife had the fried chicken and waffles with Mac and cheese. They burger was a large patty that was seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. The bun was nice and soft. The fries were very good as well. The waffles and chicken were very good, chicken seasoned very well with candied bacon spread across. Service was excellent, looking forward to returning."
"We enjoyed our first visit to Marsouls. They were busy, but the wait was very short, so don't be scared away by a full parking lot. We had the burnt ends as an appetizer. They weren't the best I've ever had, but probably the best outside of a bbq restaurant. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Marsouls Burger were delicious! My son said the burger was one of the best he's ever eaten. My wife had the Shrimp and Grits. She said they were good enough to make a yankee love grits (since she's from Maine, I'll take her word for it). We shared some Banana Pudding, which was tasty, but someone at the next table got the Apple Dumplings and we had buyers remorse about the pudding. We'll be trying the dumplings next time. They looked awesome. The service from Jaden was very good. We're looking forward to visiting again to try more of the menu."
"Food was very good and service was also very good. Burnt ends where very good. Not smokey at all but very good flavor. My Nashville spicy chicken sandwich was very good. The sauce and slaw compliments the chicken and even the pickle slices complemented the chicken. My wife had The catfish with cucumber and tomato salad and hush puppies. It was good also. I tried a hush puppie and it was very good. We had a beer , an appetizer , 2 meals and 1 dessert for about $ 50 .well worth the money."
